TO THE BELOVED MATHS SOC FAMILY!
Hi EVERY ONE!
So the year has come to a close and I hope you all are enjoying life to the fullest! (:
For the JHs, I hope it has been a memorable year of fun and positive learning for you all. Brace yourself for senior high though, especially the JH4s, but don't forget, you need to enjoy life despite the hectic workload tooooo! :D
For the SHs, I know it has been a kinda tough year, a drastic change from the secondary school life that you have experienced but since you all have passed it quite smoothly (I believe so (: ), I hope you are more or less ready for next year, the A-levels year! :D ALL THE BEST people! :D I know you will do well!
Next year is going to be hectic for all of us with so many events going on, SYF, SISC, etc. You may find yourself very busy with your study, your other CCAs (if you have more than 1 CCAs including math soc), but please don't forget that next year will be an exciting year ahead of Maths Soc as well. In order to maintain and improve the spirit of Maths Soc, we, excos, really need you all to play a part in recruiting members, organizing events or simply giving your best for all the activities we are organizing. (:
Around this time, you may find yourself being bombarded with many invitations sent out by the excos to ask you join their committees and to be in-charge of this and that. Please show them your support and help out if you can! (: They have been working really hard to come out with the detailed plan for many exciting events we have next year such as Intra-college Maths Competitions,
Primary School Maths Challenge, Primary School Maths Trail, Secondary School Maths Challenge, Maths Camp, etc.
Your contribution (strongly emphasize on sincere contributions though :p) would surely be recognized through the awarding of CIP hours, testimonials for leadership roles you play in :D But what's more rewarding and important than that is all the fun you will haveand all the precious experience you pick up along the way, just for your own character development! :D
Please also take a look at the Math Soc calendar for next year so as to get yourself updated about all the upcoming events that we are organizing (:
Last but not least, HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!! ENJOY THIS BREAK AS MUCH AS YOU CAN!!! See you next year!! :D
